The Deutsch 9 Pin J1939 female connector is Type 2, so its Pin F is with smalller diameter as Pin C and Pin J. Type 2 J1939 9-Pin female connectors can be inserted into Type 1 or Type 2 J1939 9-Pn male receptacles.
